Updates 2023
The Global Women’s Narratives Project trained twenty new student fellows at Oxford University in June of 2023. Followed by a trip to visit our newest Advisory Board member, Tamar Karosanidze, and old friend George Welton. We interviewed amazing Georgian and Ukrainian women in Tbilisi, Georgia. Many thanks to Tamuna, Charlotte, Ezi, Kate, Emily Rae, Alex, and Clair for the summer teamwork. Posted soon on the GWNP archival site. A new group of medical narratives graduate students started at USC. Welcome!
I joined David’s work trip across the UK to canvas historical stained glass and family sites from the past. Followed by attending the opening of colleague Maria Fusco’s operatic documentary about working women in Northern Ireland: History of the Present. It is unforgettable. Playing Fall 2023 at the Belfast Opera House.
